Booking your place in a Class
If you wish to book a place at one of our classes, you may do so via the online booking form on our website at www.thecakemakery.co.uk. You will receive an email confirmation once payment is completed.
All details required to attend the class will be emailed to you at the address you give us when you book your class, this will be sent approximately two weeks before the class takes place.
Payment
Payment can be made online via credit card or debit card. You may also purchase a gift voucher for any of our classes
If you wish to pay by cheque in advance, please contact 07770 433454. We do not accept cash on the day, as all bookings must be made in advance.
Refund Policy
Once you have reserved your place and made payment, we do not offer a refund if you cannot attend. Our classes are booked up fairly quickly, so unless you can send someone else in your place, please make sure you can attend when you make the booking.
If we have to cancel the class we will offer you an alternative date for the same class. If for any reason we cannot reschedule that class we will offer you a refund in full to the value of the class you paid for.
Classes
We have taken every care to ensure the descriptions and photographs on our website accurately represent the quality of our work, and what you can expect from each class.
Father's Day Classes
This is a short series of 2 hours classes that we will hold the weekend before Father's Day. Because this class will only run for a short time, booking a place on this class is non refundable. This class will have a maximum of six students per date, however if there are less than three students on any given date, we reserve the right to cancel this class and move you to another date. If you cannot attend the date we have given you, we will refund your money in full.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers can currently be purchased online for the value of £125, £225, or £375. Payment can be made via credit card or debit card. If you wish to pay by cheque, please contact 07770 433454. Your voucher will be sent out once your payment has cleared.
Gift vouchers are non refundable, but we are happy for you to transfer them to another person if you contact us and arrange this at least 3 weeks in advance of any class you wish to attend.
Purchasing a gift voucher does not guarantee the recipient a place in any of our classes. The recipient must contact us to confirm the class they wish to attend, we can then check to ensure there are spaces available on their chosen date. Our classes have a maximum of 6 persons per class.
Booking tickets for a Demonstration
If you wish to book a place at one of our demonstrations, you may do so via the online booking form on our website at www.thecakemakery.co.uk.
You will receive an email confirmation once payment has been completed. Print this email, and bring it along with you to the demo to gain entry.
Booking in advance will ensure you get a seat at our popular demo's, however seating is on a first come first served basis, so arrive early if you want a good seat!
Video and photography
We may occasionally video the class, and take photos of the cakes produced by class members. If you do not wish to appear in such promotional material, please let us know!
Copyright of our cake designs
During each class we will teach a number of skills that you can apply to our own cakes after the class. You are free to use any of our designs on your cakes. However, if you intend to run a cake decorating class, you may not use the designs that you learn during one of The Cake Makery's classes. If you run classes, or intend to teach in the future, then you may not use any of The Cake Makery's materials such as instructional leaflets, class format, photographs, videos, teaching technique or notes for your own classes.
Information we store
Please refer to our Privacy Policy. We do not store your payment details. This is handled by the merchant services and is guaranteed secure.
